Classes & Collaborations
We are working on putting together an eclectic mix of classes and collaborative programming designed to support whole-life fitness and keep things fresh. Our schedule will shift throughout the year, so for the most up-to-date class offerings, events, and pop-ups, check our socials below or stop by the gym.
In addition to in-house classes, we also open our space to local instructors and businesses who offer their own programming, from yoga and mobility work to workshops and specialty sessions. It’s one of the ways we stay connected to the broader wellness community.
MIX & MOVE
MIX and MOVE is dancing to a variety of upbeat songs that will leave you feeling confident and uplifted. It’s inspired by different styles of music, including: Latin, Pop, Hip-Hop, Reggaeton, Bhangra, K-Pop, Italian Rap-Pop, and more. It’s a way to mix it up, get moving, and have some fun!
About the Instructor
Hello, my name is Leah! I am thrilled to be dancing here at Finger Lake Fitness Center. I have been teaching dance for over 15 years. I’ve always loved dancing, and it has really played a large part in my life. For me, dancing inspires joy, connection, confidence, and love.
I believe in creating a warm and judgement-free environment where the main goal is to have fun while enjoying different types of music! I truly hope you join me this spring and summer in my MIX and MOVE dance class as I return with songs that you can’t help but move along to with a smile.
SOULfusion™
SOULfusion™is a dynamic blend of yoga-inspired flows, short cardio bursts, balance work, and both bodyweight and weighted strength training, all set to high-energy, fun music. Designed for all levels, the class builds strength, balance, and flexibility. It’s a chance to set aside time for yourself, move your body, clear your head, and reset.
About the Instructor
Hi! I’m Sarah. I have been a certified instructor in PiYo since 2015 and its sister format, SOULfusion™, since 2021. I strive to incorporate self reflection and offer modifications in my classes in order to create an inclusive environment for all participants.
I have lived in the Ithaca area since 2013 with my two children and six (arguably too many) cats.I can often be found in the Ithaca College Library, exploring local trails, or practicing yoga. Come join me at Finger Lakes Fitness Center for SOULfusion™.
