NO! Absolutely not. We believe everyone should have access to fitness. We try to keep things simple and straightforward.

We do. We know things can get expensive. We offer the following discounts off our 6 and 12 month memberships only:
15% Seniors over 60
15% Military and First Responders
15% for Public School Employees
10% for Students
10% for members of the Downtown Employee Appreciation Program
10% for couples (agreements for couples need to be for the same residence and in a combined payment)

We are located in the lower level (basement) of Center Ithaca. Access to the building can be gained through the Commons during Center Ithaca Operating hours which are 9am-5pm Monday through Saturday and 11am – 5pm on Sunday. Then there is an elevator downstairs.
Outside of those hours we have rear door access to the building, for members only, between the Green Street Parking Garage and the Downtown Ithaca Alliance office in Center Ithaca. You must have an active membership and your key fob to access the building at those times.

With the 6- and 12-month options there are no charge freezes available. We know sometimes “life happens” and we want you to be able to come back when you sort it out.
For 6 months one freeze up to 20 days
12 months three freezes, for up to 60 days.
Additional Freezes are available for $15 for a maximum of 30 days

We have partnered with insurance/ membership organizations to provide as much access to our facility as possible. We accept members through Active and Fit, Silver and Fit, Tivity Prime, Silver Sneakers, Renew Active (through United Healthcare), One Pass, and One Pass Select. Please inquire with your insurance. Many insurances offer partial or full reimbursement for gym memberships.

Check with your rental office, you might be! We have contracts with various apartment buildings downtown that offer a great discount if purchased through the rental companies. If you are interested in that and you have a group, let us know. Maybe we can secure a good deal for you.

Yes! If you have a current membership and you refer a new member who signs up for 6 or 12 months, you will receive ONE MONTH FREE, on us. Thank you.

We do. Our day passes are offered during Welcome Desk hours. It is $13 for a day visit. If you already have a key fob pass from another time, we can usually just activate you for that day. Many of our traveling friends do that and purchase time for when they are in town.

Membership cards are non-transferable and need to be used only for the member themselves. If you want to bring a guest, you can call us or come in during Welcome Desk Hours and pay for a day pass for them. If they join for 3 months or more, we will subtract the day pass fee from the total amount.

If you lose or damage your pass you can purchase a replacement for $5.

Yes, we have weekly and monthly locker rentals for smaller and full-sized lockers. We want to facilitate your experience so you can come any time of the day or night…before work, during lunch, or after work, and have your things here for you.

We do have showers in both the men’s and women’s locker rooms.

Yes! We have both workout towels and shower towels available for a simple pay-per-use fee or monthly add on. One less thing for you to carry around and wash later.

As of now, we have yoga mats, straps, and blocks available for purchase. Please email if you would like to purchase any of these or have any special requests. From time to time we will have other home gym equipment available for purchase.

We do have a monthly plan for both the 6 month and 12 month option for 50 cents and 75 cents per month respectively. We will NOT renew your subscription without your request to do so. However, you are expected to pay the full cost of the subscription once you’ve signed the monthly agreement.

You may cancel the contract without any penalty within three days from the signature date if certain guidelines are followed (according to NYS law)
You may also cancel your contract if your doctor says you may be unable to do workouts for an extended period or If you move more than twenty-five miles from the facility.
Notice of cancellation needs to be in writing and accompanied by membership card.
For any reason outside of those listed above, cancelations can be requested in writing 30 days in advance of desired cancellation date. They must be approved by owner or manager. If membership cancellation is granted, there will be a fee of 25% of the remaining balance on the agreement or $50, whichever is greater. This fee will be deducted from any refund for prepaid memberships. Any refund will be prorated based on the cost of one (1) month at the time of the refund.
